Please follow up with me as to why the death of a supreme court justice of the united states and a groundbreaking leader in justice for women, people of color, and others does not warrant the honor of flags at half staff. This oversight was saddening.

Hi Susan, I did receive confirmation from the mayor's office that the flag on the green has been at half mast for Justice Ginsberg all morning.

Dear Manager of Operations, I am glad about the flag on the green; however, per my photo, the flag in front of the Whitney Ave fire station was NOT at half staff at 1:06 pm on Saturday (time stamp of my photo above) or any time earlier in the morning. Only the flag on the green was half staff (and not all flags in New Haven), and there was no general recommendation from the mayor for all flags in front of official New Haven buildings?
